| Ok....so in my YPL group we have been discussing the Trinity. I am going to give you the questions we are 'studying' for next week. Give me your imput. Some of them are Corps Cadets. However, not all of my YPL kids go to church other than on Wednesday nights with us. Keep that in mind. 1. How does the trinity work together? 2. Are they 3 different 'people' in one? or Just 3 different 'people' working together? Those were the questions they (my teens) had given me for all of us to work on. | | |

| Have you ever called someone a fool? I know I have. Well recently I've had a few people call me on it about how it is scriptually wrong. At first I was really confused b/c I know there are a lot of verses referring to someone being a fool, especially in proverbs. But then there is this verse in Matthew and I am asking your opinion on it. Matthew 5:22 NKJV "But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall bein danger of the judgement. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire." or Matthew 5:22 NCV "But I tell you, if you are angry with a brother or sister, you will be judged. If you say bad things to a brother or sister, you will be judged by the council. And if you call someone a fool, you will be in danger of the fire of hell." So, what is your take on that verse? | | |
| Ok, So I want to start posting questions...most will be spiritual/biblical/or army related, but not all. Most will have something to do with what is going on in my life or someone's near me, like today's. As Christian's what is your stance on lawsuits? Let me explain, I had two friends involved in a wreck, both Christians. The wreck was not the driver's fault, nor was the driver injured. The passenger, a single mom, now has a cracked vertabrae. Her child was in his carseat, no injuries. Well, the insurance agency of the other car offered her $5,000 if she didn't take it to court. I told her not to sign anything and set her up with a Christian Lawyer that I have the utmost respect for. Now, our friend the driver is telling her that from a spiritual and biblical viewpoint that she should not be doing this. She isn't suing the person, just the insurance company. I don't mind hearing I'm wrong...I just want honest opinions. Thanks! | | |
| So, there have been a lot of little things getting to me lately...things I can't go into detail about on here. But top everything else off, my purse got stolen tonight at work. It was in my office, under my desk and I was with my Girl Guards when we figured it happened. In my purse was my wallet and all that type stuff, but more importantly my camera was in it. Now I know I should be worried about identity theft and such, but I've already cancelled my cards and will go to all the necessary places tomorrow. But I cannot replace my pictures. I should have stuck w/my 35mm...this would not have happened. I just want my camera back. ... so yeah... | | |
